MABLE NEEDS YOU!

This poor kid just can't get a break. Her life, as we know it, started
when she was barely a week old and fighting for every breath because of
a severe upper respiratory infection. Her first stroke of luck was being
fostered by Carly, who held her close every night, not knowing whether
she'd live to see another sunrise. Against all odds her little soul
clung to life, and she survived to blossom into the sweetest of kitties,
bursting with love. It seemed a happy ending when she was adopted, but
last May Carly became aware that her foster family had lost their home
and was moving where she couldn't join them. Carly tried desperately to
find her a place in a rescue but had no luck till she contacted POSNA.
The day before her family was moving, Mable came to us and was adopted
soon after. A happy ending seemed hers finally, till last week when her
family contacted us. Apparently, their original kitty just hasn't been
willing to accept Mable, causing too much strife for all concerned.
Being the last one in, it's Mable who, tragically, now needs to find yet
another home. This time it must absolutely be forever, never to be left
behind again! Mable is not just a cat. She's quiet miracle, a testament
to resilience and the healing power of love.

Mable is 4-5 years old and has of course been spayed, wormed and
vaccinated. We think she's a Maine Coon cross and is as pretty as she is
personable. A home where she'll be the only kitty will be the safest
